Toyota vehicles have a different method of disabling their daytime running lights than most vehicles. Instead of pulling a DRL fuse, Toyota vehicles have a specific pin on the headlight relay that you must cut to disable the daytime running lights.
The pin differs on the make and model of your Toyota vehicle, but accessing the relay is the same. The headlight is located in the glove compartment in the fuse and relay center.

(The construction & use regulations say that if you have daytime running lights 'below' headlight level, they should turn off when the headlights go on.) I thought about doing the sme and fitting them around the fog light in the fog light surround on the Yaris but have never got around to it. Not the best picture but gives you an idea.

Although the daytime running lights may limit the life of your high beam bulbs, they are a safety feature that is mandatory in many countries. Keep in mind that this procedure is permanent and, if you wish to reconnect your daytime running lights, you must purchase a new headlight relay.
